Members may perform the following functions:

• Submit computer security and malware prevention and removal links
• Rate links
• Submit computer security and malware prevention and removal products
• Rate products
• Post documentation
• Rate documentation
• Send group E-mail postings to members.
• Receive newsletter
• Participate in the Forum
• Create Documentation

Members will get points for rating links, products, and documentation, participating in the forum, and creating documentation. Members that create documentation will get points every time another member rates their documentation. See the member points page for information about how the points system works.

Higher level members will be able to create sections, approve link submissions, and approve documentation and changes to documentation.

Current Status of the Members Area

All the functions are working except as listed below:

Functions Being Tested

• Documentation may be created by members - Although this function is working, more testing will be done, and documentation about how to use this function will be provided.
• The group E-mail posting function is still being tested.
• The newsletter is still being tested.
• The forums are working but some enhancements are still being made.

Functions to be Implemented

• The ability to create polls is not yet implemented.
